MOSTAR, May 3 (FENA) - The Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) BiH announced on Friday that numerous embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been contacted during the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic, in the wake of growing international solidarity and a spirit of community and offered assistance in curbing the spread of the virus in BiH.
Based on the established facts and positive experience conveyed by the University Clinical Center Banja Luka, the arrival of the same Russian humanitarian aid convoy to the Mostar University Clinical Hospital, which had been staying in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the past week, was requested.
The statement said that in these challenging circumstances and efforts, Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and the President of the HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, thanked everyone who are willing to give aid and contribute to health and all other institutions in BiH that directly participate in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, whether in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar or any other environment.
The health challenges, social sensitivities, difficult economic situation and security challenges that our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently facing should by no means be a commitment to instigate unnecessary political conflicts based on deception and lies, which we are witnessing in this case, it is said in a statement from the HDZ BiH.
