BANJA LUKA, May 8 (FENA) - In the Republika Srpska (RS), the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed in another 25 persons, and the total number of those infected in the RS has increased to 1,068, said today the entity Minister of Health and Social Care Alen Šeranić.
One doctor from the Banja Luka hospital is among the positive ones, while 29 employees of that health institution tested negative for the virus.
391 people have recovered, while 61 people have died from the consequences of Covid-19 in the RS so far.
In the last 24 hours, 507 laboratory tests were performed at the University Clinical Center (UKC) in Banja Luka and the Institute of Public Health.
Currently, 168 people with confirmed presence or suspicion of coronavirus are being treated at the UKC, while six patients are on ventilators.
So far, 16,484 tests on Covid-19 have been performed in the entity in total. Šeranić added that the RS has enough tests.
