SARAJEVO, July 29 (FENA) - The FBiH Minister for Veteran Affairs and Disabled Veterans of the Liberation War Salko Bukvarević passed away this morning at the Clinic for Pneumology Podhrastovi of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), the KCUS confirmed for FENA.
He was previously hospitalized due to a deteriorating health condition after being tested positive for coronavirus. He was placed on a ventilator yesterday morning.
Bukvarević was born in 1967 in Kalesija. He was an associate professor at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering in Tuzla. He was appointed the Minister of Veterans Affairs in 2015.
