SARAJEVO, August 26 (FENA) – A handover ceremony for 180 demining safety visors for the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH), donated by the United States Government, was held today at the Rajlovac barracks.
Embassy Representative Salman Khan and US Assistant Army Attaché to BiH Major Joshua Magnusson presented visors on behalf of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Members of the Demining Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade (brTP) of the AFBiH received the protective visors.
Demining visors are accredited by BH MAC, and can be used immediately in the demining process at demining sites.
Demining Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade of the AF BiH will continue the process of demining at full capacity with 34 manual teams, which means that with this donation, 18 manual teams can be equipped, the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
The Ministry of Defense of BiH expressed gratitude to the US Embassy for this donation and expressed hope to further successful cooperation.
