Entry into BiH allowed to all foreign nationals with a negative PCR test

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 10 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at its session today passed a Decision on prescribing additional conditions for the entry of foreign nationals into Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus opening the BiH borders to all foreign citizens provided they have a negative test for coronavirus not older than 48 hours.

“Foreign nationals who meet the conditions for entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina, prescribed by the Law on Foreigners, may enter Bosnia and Herzegovina upon presentation of a negative PCR test for SARS-Cov-2 virus, which is not older than 48 hours until the moment of entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina,” it is specified in the Decision.

This decision shall enter into force on the day of its adoption, and shall be applied at border crossings as of Saturday, 12 September 2020, 06:00 hrs.

The Council of Ministers also passed a Decision on the repeal of the Decision on the temporary suspension of the issuance of visas in diplomatic and consular missions of BiH.

This enables foreign citizens who need a visa to enter BiH to resubmit their visa application, and BiH diplomatic and consular missions to continue the proceedings, stated the BiH Council of Ministers.
