Turković: I expect Dodik to prove by his deeds what he talked about in Zagreb

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 17 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković expects BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik to prove by deeds what he talked about yesterday in Zagreb and emphasized in a statement for the media that "Croats from BiH entity of RS and the Bishop of Banja Luka will witness his efforts".

"Considering that Dodik, as one of the members of the Presidency of BiH in charge of our country's foreign policy, was in Zagreb yesterday, I ask whether he started resolving important issues for the state with the state leadership of neighboring Croatia, such as radioactive waste disposal at Trgovska Gora and cutting down forests on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia on the mountain Plješevica,” says Turković.

Minister Turković thinks that in the context of Trgovska Gora, a nuclear waste disposal that threatens the citizens of Bosnian Krajina, it would be good if he, as a high-ranking official who comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, from the RS entity, instead of accusing others, informed his party colleague Minister Košarac about what he did on that issue during his stay in Zagreb and of course to respond to the directly endangered population.

“Certainly, it would be good if Dodik initiated the resolution of the issue of implementation of the protocol on mutual cooperation in criminal proceedings and extradition of war crimes indictees to Bosnia and Herzegovina currently residing in Croatia, return of the property of BiH companies, the case of the Pelješac Bridge and the associated rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, border issues and many other issues,” she said.

Turković stated that she found interesting "that Dodik worries about migrants, while at the same time opposing the entry of members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the border with Serbia to prevent them from entering our country."

“Dodik says that Bosniaks are trying to disintegrate Serbs and Croats, which according to all relevant data is not true, while at the same time in the part of Bosnia and Herzegovina where he has an absolute power Bosniaks and Croats are not employed in accordance with Article 97 of the RS Constitution, according to the 1991 census. The number of employed Bosniaks and Croats in the public sector can be counted on the fingers of one hand, and at the same time attempts are being made to deprive them of their mother tongue,” Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turković reacted to BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik's visit to Zagreb.
