SARAJEVO, September 30 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik said that today's meeting with European Union leaders in Brussels was successful and that the first topic they discussed was enlargement, which is of interest to everyone, reports N1.
- We have heard that there has been some progress regarding several BiH issues that have been resolved and that efforts should be made to work together next year with the European Commissioner, the European Union, and EU member states. So, let's get to the candidate status, which would be a new dynamic for BiH - stated Dodik.
Dodik stressed that the harmonized economic assistance package, which will be adopted next Tuesday, should cover and build communications regarding highways, railways, gas pipelines, digital corridors and connect all the capitals of the Western Balkans. And in that regard, he added, 18 projects for the entire Western Balkans will be identified.
- The European Union is entering into a new pact on migrants. It means that migrants stay at the border, at all borders, and that those who are already inside are expelled, all those who should not be there - he stated.
Speaking about the mini Schengen, Dodik emphasized that it is something he has supported for a long time.
- The EU has clearly said that it will support that implementation and that at the summit on November 10, that mini Schengen will be the main topic, and that it is important for BiH to be part of it - said Dodik.
