SARAJEVO, December 18 (FENA) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH received information from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Bisera Turković, stating that this ministry received a protest note from the Embassy of Ukraine.
"The diplomatic note was not submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. A case has been opened, and checks will be carried out," the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
The authorities of Ukraine asked the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina for clarification after the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, presented a gift to the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergey Lavrov, in a form of an Orthodox relic, a 300-year-old icon that allegedly belongs to Ukraine.
