SARAJEVO, February 2 (FENA) - The family of the murdered Dženan Memić has submitted a request for the dismissal of the chief cantonal prosecutor in Sarajevo, Sabina Sarajlija.
“I submitted a request for dismissal and a request for admission, to receive me and my lawyer to present her evidence of the murder, even though she can no longer conduct an investigation. She does not perform her function honorably and she got this job through Dalida Burzić and Milan Tegeltija. She knows that Dženan was killed. The state prosecutor's office has started making arrests, and she still claims that she is behind the indictment and that she will see what verdict the Supreme Court will pass,” Muriz Memić, Dženan's father, told the media.
He said the investigation has been expanded and that there would be more arrests.
“Dalida Burzić must be suspended. I hope that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will bring this case to an end, they have opened an investigation for organized crime, and there will be an investigation into the murder, there are witnesses and it will soon be known who the killer is and who the accomplices are,” Memić said after submitting the request.
Former Chief of Traffic Investigations of the Sarajevo Canton Interior Ministry Hasan Dupovac and Zijad Mutap, the father of Alisa Mutap, were arrested in yesterday's SIPA operation on suspicion of obstructing the investigation into Dženan Memić's death.
