Tegeltija: BiH has contracts for the vaccine supply for 40% of the population

SARAJEVO, February 3 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD) reminded today that BiH has signed contracts for the supply of vaccines for 40 percent of the population.

"We have paid for the vaccines and we expect their delivery," said Tegeltija, answering the question of an MP of the Democratic People's Alliance (DNS) in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Nenad Nešić.

He reminded that the process of procurement of vaccines began in June 2020, and was led by the entity ministries of health and the Department of Health of the Brčko District, toghether with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We have a written notification that around 27,000 Pfizer vaccines and between 200,000 and 250,000 vaccines produced by Moderna will arrive in BiH by mid-February at the latest," said Tegeltija.
