SARAJEVO, February 18 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija received today in Sarajevo Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Haldun Koç in a farewell visit.
The interlocutors stated that the relations between BiH and Turkey are good and friendly and that there is a mutual interest in the continuous development of cooperation in all areas.
Chairman Tegeltija pointed out that BiH has the biggest number of concluded and ratified agreements with the Republic of Turkey. He pointed out the importance of Turkey's activities in financing the Belgrade-Sarajevo motorway. It was assessed that there is room for further improvement of cooperation, primarily in the areas of agriculture, transport and infrastructure. Chairman Tegeltija emphasized the possibilities of investing in the sectors of infrastructure, agriculture, energy, tourism, as well as education, health and food industry in BiH.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed the upcoming visit of BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik to the Republic of Turkey in mid-March, during which several agreements between the two countries will be signed.
Tegeltija thanked Ambassador Koc for his diplomatic engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and his personal contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries and wished him success in continuing his diplomatic career, the BiH CoM said.
