SARAJEVO, February 26 (FENA) - The State Investment Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a telephone session to discuss projects for candidacy under the 25th call for technical assistance and the sixth call for co-financing investment projects through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
Eleven projects were approved at the session within the sixth call for co-financing of investment projects in the field of transport, energy and environmental protection, which were assessed as sufficiently mature for a referral to the Secretariat of the Western Balkans Investment Framework.
The applications are evaluated by the WBIF Project Funding Group, which proposes selected applications to the WBIF Steering Committee.
Three applications in the field of environmental protection were sent for a further procedure within the 25th call for WBIF technical assistance.
The eligibility criteria for the allocation of grant funds for these calls are in line with the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans, the BiH Council of Ministers said.
