SARAJEVO, March 10 (FENA) - Deputy in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and SDP BiH Vice President Denis Bećirović warned in a public address to the High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko and EU Special Representative in BiH Johann Sattler that Annex 10 and Annex 4 are inseparable packages of the Dayton Peace Agreement, not a buffet from which separatists can take or discard whatever they want.
“It is time for the international community to end the heartless policy towards the citizens of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Gentlemen, either stop undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement and Annex 10, or return the legal Constitution of the internationally recognized state of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina that we lost through aggression and genocide. It is time to answer both the domestic and international public why you have politically neutralized all those BiH politicians who are seeking the abolition of BiH entity of RS, and on the other hand encouraged separatists and extremists to publicly seek the destruction of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina? It is time for the public to find out what your ultimate goal is,” he emphasized.
As he further states in his public address, ‘the leaders of the BiH entity of RS do not hide that they have been working for years intensively to break up the independent, sovereign and indivisible state of Bosnia and Herzegovina'.
“On that path, among other things, they are hindered by the OHR and the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Such anti-Dayton attempts by the authorities and leaders of the BiH entity of RS, with the aim of destroying and making meaningless Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement, with the support of some careless or insufficiently informed European officials, represent one of the most dangerous blows to the Dayton Peace Agreement in our country from 1995 until today. It is not only an attempt to weaken and destabilize the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also a much larger geopolitical game in Southeast Europe.
“The goal of that dangerous policy of anti-Dayton and separatist elements from the RS entity is not just the elimination of the OHR. Their fundamental task is the gradual elimination of all those key Dayton elements that are protecting independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and peace in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is time to concretely help the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its at least two-thirds majority of citizens who are firmly committed to full membership in NATO and the EU. It is time to take serious and concrete measures in order to protect the Dayton Peace Agreement and the BiH Constitution,” he wrote.
