SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić spoke today with Eric Nelson, Ambassador of the United States, via Zoom app.
The topic of the meeting was future constitutional reforms, in order to implement the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, as well as the reform of electoral legislation, to protect the integrity of the electoral process, but also to enable all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to consume their active and passive voter rights, as determined by the Opinion of the European Commission.
In that regard, a member of the Presidency of BiH, Željko Komšić, pointed out that he expects the support of the United States of America, that full democracy be introduced in Bosnia and Herzegovina so that every citizen of this country achieves their equality in all segments, including the election process.
In addition, they talked about the continuation of NATO's path to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and submission of the second draft of the Reform Program of BiH, while on the other hand, NATO partners are expected to actively work with institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards membership in this supranational military alliance, the BiH Presidency said.
