GORAŽDE, May 9 (FENA) - Friday, in the late afternoon, about 60 migrants arrived in Goražde, including women, children and the elderly, confirmed the Cantonal Ministry of the Interior. It is assumed that the migrants arrived from the territory of Montenegro, and they were processed in the Field Center of the Service for Foreigners Affairs in Goražde, which organizes transport to migrant camps.
About 60 migrants, mostly from Afghanistan, allegedly crossed from Albania to Montenegro, and then to BiH, and after a long walk in the woods, reached Goražde. The cantonal ministry of the interior said that the group of migrants also had 22 minor children among them.
Since there is no reception center in this city, the first to come to the aid of tired and starving migrants were the employees of the Police Administration and the Podrinje Canton Ministry of the Interior who provided them with meals, which is not the first time in such situations.
The citizens of Goražde showed that they are not immune to other people's troubles, and when they learned that a larger group of migrants with minor children were staying in their city, they collected large quantities of food, clothes and shoes in just one hour.
The migrants spent the night at the Behar Hotel in Goražde, and yesterday, after the processing, they were sent to migrant camps.
