Novalić and Girgin: Good conditions for expanding cooperation

SARAJEVO, May 21 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, talked today at headquarters of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sadık Babür Girgin.

The officials discussed the revised Free Trade Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey, whose implementation is expected to begin next month.

They also talked about the construction of the Sarajevo – Belgrade motorway, as a very important infrastructural, but also economic project of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia, which is supported by the Republic of Turkey. The Turkish Ambassador thanked the FBiH Prime Minister for the support at this project.

Prime Minister Novalić said that the successful economic cooperation so far will be expanded and that there are good conditions and mutual desire for that.

“I believe that we will not only continue the successful cooperation in all areas, especially in area of economy, but also significantly improve it,” said Prime Minister Novalić.

Ambassador Gigrin expressed satisfaction that the problem of wastewater discharge from the plant of the Turkish company Şişecam soda Lukavac has been resolved, and pointed out that previous examples of good cooperation between the two countries will have a positive impact on launching new Turkish investments in our country, the Press Service of the FBiH Government announced.
