SARAJEVO, May 26 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović visited the "Alija Izetbegović" Foundation today.
Members of the Board of Directors of the Foundation Sabina Berberović and Faris Nanić informed Džaferović about the work of the Foundation so far, and about the projects that the Foundation intends to implement in the coming period.
They especially emphasized the importance of the solemn ceremony on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was held on March 1, 2021 at the National Theater in Sarajevo under the auspices of the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović.
The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed satisfaction with the results of the Foundation and provided full support to the Foundation's efforts to contribute to the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the well-being of its peoples and citizens, and the promotion of pluralism and respect for diversity based on the attitudes and intellectual legacy of Alija Izetbegović, the first President of the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Foundation announced.
