SARAJEVO, June 18 (FENA) - A solemn ceremony was held today at the Royal Air Force College Cranwell to mark the end of the training of a new class of officers.
On that occasion, cadet Jasmina Balta was promoted at the ceremony, who successfully completed the training, which gave the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina another officer who will soon be in a position to transfer the acquired knowledge and experience in her unit in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Cadet Balta was sent to college after finishing her studies at the Faculty of Health Studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Within Cranwell College, together with colleagues from the UK and several other countries, cadets through six months of training, through four different modules, are trained to perform officer duties, with the emphasis in training on skills that are crucial for successful performing tasks within the framework of officer duties, especially when it comes to leadership and work with the military staff.
Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Vanja Filipović, as well as the Military Attaché of BiH to the UK, Brigadier General Nedžad Sadiković attended the ceremony and spoke with the Commander of Cranwell College, Brigadier Joanne Campbell.
Commander Campbell stated that cadets from Bosnia and Herzegovina are welcome, that their commitment during school justifies the opportunity, adding that the British side also benefits from this type of cooperation, given that in this way British cadets have the opportunity to learn about BiH culture and values, the BiH Ministry of Defense said.
