MOSTAR, July 15 (FENA) - Director of the television program "Rhythm of Europe" Igor Karadarević and Mayor of Mostar Mario Kordić signed an agreement today in Mostar on the organization of the music program "Rhythm of Europe".
It is the largest music television broadcast in Europe, which will take place in Mostar next May.
Karadarević said that he is very pleased that Mostar would host young singers from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina next year and that the City on the Neretva River would be the capital of song and music.
“Children from BiH will sing for European countries in languages of those countries. For five months, children will come to Mostar and practice their performance, with the help of our colleagues from Cyprus, Sweden, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Karadarević.
According to him, 15 cities and municipalities will be included, and the live TV broadcast will go from Mostar.
Mayor Kordić thanked Karadarević for giving Mostar a chance to send a musical congratulation to Europe.
“The idea for Mostar to host children from all over BiH next year is fantastic, for Mostar to send a nice message, a musical greeting card as it usually is as part of the Eurovision Song Contest, and we gladly accepted it,” said the Mayor of Mostar.
