OSCE congratulates progress on curricular reform project in Zenica-Doboj Canton

ZENICA, July 18 (FENA) - The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina sent congratulations to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (MONKS) and the Pedagogical Institute Zenica for progress in the project "Quality Education through Curricular Reform".
 
“It is great to see that determination and continuous work have led to the development of 45 draft curricula for regular primary schools and secondary grammar schools based on learning outcomes, in accordance with the Common Core Curriculum defined on learning outcomes, and their presentation for public discussion,” it is said in the greeting card.
 
It is added that the OSCE mission continues to work with the Ministry and the Pedagogical Institute to ensure inclusive and quality education for all children.
 
The project "Quality Education through Curricular Reform" is implemented by MONKS and Pedagogical Institute with support of the OSCE Mission to improve the quality and inclusiveness of education through the development of subject curricula for primary and secondary general education based on learning outcomes.
 
After the public discussion, review and finalization of the documents of the subject curricula, the documents will be adopted and published in the legally prescribed procedure, thus being available to the professional, scientific and general public as official documents, the Press Service of Zenica-Doboj Canton announced.
