SARAJEVO, July 29 (FENA) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) strongly condemns the attack on the Ferhatović returnee family in Vlasenica.
“This case is the latest in a series of attacks on Bosniak returnees in Vlasenica and the RS entity. Most of those attacks did not receive a court epilogue, and the attackers were not sanctioned,” the SDA warned.
The party calls on the competent institutions to prosecute and sanction those responsible for the attack on the Ferhatović family as soon as possible, and points out that only an adequate sanction can prevent possible future attacks and restore a sense of security among returnees.
The Party of Democratic Action warns that pressures and attacks on Bosniaks in the RS entity are a direct consequence of the policy of Milorad Dodik, whose rhetoric persistently provokes tensions, endangers the reconciliation process and encourages attacks on returnees.
