SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) - The House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina approved today at a session under the abbreviated procedure the Bill on Parents Caregivers in the FBiH, which was determined by the FBiH Government.

According to the explanation of the proposer, this law for the first time systematically solves the problem when it comes to families that have a child with one hundred percent disability.
The goal is to recognize the right of one of the parents to have a status of a parent caregiver and to provide them with a monthly allowance in the amount of the lowest net salary in FBiH, as well as related contributions for pension, disability, health and unemployment insurance.
According to estimates, 27.2 million KM should be allocated annually in the FBiH budget for the implementation of the law.
Of that, 16.5 million is currently provided, and the rest will be compensated by the redistribution of money from the appropriate budget items.
