Karačić: Denis Prcić's house arrest order has been lifted

SARAJEVO, September 19 (FENA) - The owner of the American University in BiH, Denis Prcić, was released from custody by a previous decision of the Court of BiH from July 15, and a number of prohibitive measures were imposed, including a ban on leaving his residence.

"With the new decision of the Court of BiH, the measure of prohibition of leaving the place of residence, or house arrest, was lifted for Denis Prcić.

Prohibition measures that remain in force are: meetings with witnesses, a ban on visiting certain places and a ban on performing certain activities, and a travel ban, confirmed today to FENA the defense attorney of Prcić, Nina Karačić.

Denis Prcić is charged with the criminal offenses of assisting the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal offense, abuse of position or authority and forgery of an official document.

Prcić is charged by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH that he has enabled Osman Mehmedagić, the Director of the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH (OSABiH), to obtain his university diploma in an illegal manner.
