SARAJEVO, September 28 (FENA) - Head of the European Union Delegation and EU Special Representative in BiH Johann Sattler today handed over a donation of 14 vehicles to the FBiH Administration for Inspection Affairs, the FBiH Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry and the BiH Food Safety Agency.

The value of the vehicles is more than 200,000 euros, and they are part of the European Union's overall support for strengthening the capacity of phytosanitary inspection and the food safety sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sattler said that he was pleased to hand over the donated vehicles to the three institutions, recalling that a couple of weeks ago he handed over 14 vehicles to the RS institutions.

"This is extremely important because we protect our lives by protecting plants, and by ensuring healthy food we make our food supply chain stable," Sattler said.

The officials emphasized at the ceremony that this support will also contribute to strengthening the capacity of the mentioned services for the purpose of harmonizing domestic legislation with the rules and standards of the European Union.
