SARAJEVO, October 5 (FENA) - Chairman and member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović issued a joint statement emphasizing that the decision to postpone the military exercise between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of the Republic of Serbia is justified.
“The decision to postpone the military exercise between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of the Republic of Serbia is reasonable and justified, given the current deteriorating epidemiological situation,” they said in a statement.
As underlined by the BiH Ministry of Defense, the planned military exercise has only been prolonged and will be carried out in accordance with the decision of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, when the necessary conditions are met, they said.
In this regard, the demands for the dismissal of the Minister of Defense are unfounded and unjustified, and represent an irresponsible expression of the politicization of this issue, the Presidency of BiH announced.
