Dodik: RS will not make any moves that could endanger peace

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, October 20 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik received today in Banja Luka the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for Europe, Central Asia and America Miroslav Jenča.

Dodik thanked the UN Assistant Secretary-General for all the programs implemented and supported by the UN, emphasizing that "due to the increased distrust in certain representatives of the international community, the UN presence should be more significant in BiH."

He informed Jenča about the current political situation in the country, emphasizing that the RS entity "insists on consistent respect of the BiH Constitution."

He also stressed that "the situation in BiH has been unstable for a long time due to the imposed decisions of foreign officials," but that it is still peaceful, and that "Republika Srpska will not make any moves that could endanger peace," stated Dodik's office in the BiH Presidency.
