Police raids in RS in connection with the murder of Sarajevo police officers

SARAJEVO, November 4 (FENA) - A spokeswoman for the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, confirmed for FENA that the police is conducting searches since early this morning at several locations in the entity of Republika Srpska, on the order of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.

"Officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency together with the Police of the Sarajevo Canton, the RS MoI UP and the Intelligence and Security Agency are conducting searches at several locations in the RS," said Bavčić.

The operation is taking place with the aim of arresting the murderers of Sarajevo police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović in 2018 in Alipašino polje. The shooting occurred when police officers found a group of criminals stealing a vehicle in that neighborhood.
