According to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, Elez gave up his right to appeal the verdict based on his confession and agreed to cooperate with the prosecutorial institutions of BiH and Serbia in clarifying other serious crimes.
“In accordance with the agreement, the accused will be deprived of illegal proceeds of crime,” the statement said.
He was ordered into detention earlier this year within the case codenamed ‘Lutka’.

The Prosecutor's Office requested the detention over the crimes in the ‘Lutka’ case, which Elez allegedly committed.
Upon his extradition from Serbia, Elez was detained but on the grounds of the crimes that were documented by the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.
