SARAJEVO, November 24 (FENA) - Representatives of the opposition parties in BiH expressed concern after meeting with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi, who told them that BiH could be left without 1.5 billion euros.

The president of the Social Democratic Party of BiH, Nermin Nikšić, stated that the EU is again trying to force the ruling parties in BiH with financial pressure to do their job.

"Those 1.5 billion euros will be lost if the issue of Corridor Vc is not resolved by the end of the year, but the EU is not very optimistic that the government in BiH will be functioning until then," said Nikšić.

The president of the Serb Democratic Party, Mirko Šarović, stated that he told Várhelyi that he could not expect this government to resolve the crisis and that the time until the elections next year would, unfortunately, be lost.

The president of the Alliance for a Better Future, Fahrudin Radončić, pointed out that he understood the strategy was to first harmonize Bosniak-Croat relations and then relations between the entities, but that it was first necessary to stop the destruction that is done by Milorad Dodik.

Our Party President Edin Forto explained that he told Várhelyi that the EU must not offer solutions that would not work in their own countries, and that the EU should stop treating the ruling parties officials in BiH as credible partners because, as he said, they are afraid of imprisonment if BiH establishes the rule of law.

The President of the Party of Democratic Progress, Branislav Borenović, assessed that the three ruling parties are anti-European and pro-corruption ones and that "the main precondition for returning BiH to normal framework is overcoming the imposed Inzko law on banning genocide denial".
