SARAJEVO, December 30 (FENA) - The Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Special Department for War Crimes has filed an indictment against Branislav Lasica (1965) from Goražde and Miroslav Milović (1950) from Ustiprača, who are charged with war crimes committed in the village of Lozje near Gorazde.
The accused are charged with criminal offenses - war crimes against civilians, organizing a group of people and inciting the commission of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, violations of the laws or customs of war, individual and command responsibility (CCBiH).
Lasica and Milović are charged with commanding and participating in the attack on the village of Lozje as members of the RS Army in the area, and killing about 30 victims, mostly civilians, including women, children and the elderly. A dozen people were taken into illegal detention, and they are also charged with illegal, arbitrary and unjustified destruction or misappropriation of property on a large scale.
The Prosecution will prove the allegations of the indictment by calling 139 witnesses and attaching 251 pieces of evidence.
