PRNJAVOR, January 30 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Member Milorad Dodik said that the first test for the participation of Serb representatives in the work of the BiH institutions is in the form of a proposal of a law "that Republika Srpska and the Serb people cannot be called genocidal."
"We will propose a law which says that Republika Srpska and the Serb people cannot be called derogatory names. If there is a will to work, we will work," Dodik told reporters in Prnjavor, RTRS reports.
He referred to the conclusions of the National Assembly of the RS that state that "Serb representatives in the BiH institutions work in accordance with the assessment of what is in the best interest of Republika Srpska."
He said about the announced, special session of the National Assembly that it would be decent, after six months have passed since the decision was made not to participate in the work of institutions at the level of BiH, to sit down again.
Dodik assessed that it could be useful to propose a law according to which "any labeling of Republika Srpska and the Serb people as genocidal or anything of that kind would be criminally sanctioned by imprisonment.
"Now I see some from the opposition are shouting again, a month ago they said that they are not interested, that they do not want to have anything with this, and now when we are trying to do something, nothing works for them. It will be very important for me to hear what the opposition representatives think about this," Dodik concluded, RTRS reports.
