SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić today congratulated the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier on his re-election as President of that country.
"We are encouraged to hear that you will continue your work in the second term. We will make additional efforts to strengthen and improve relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Republic of Germany, and for Bosnia and Herzegovina to accelerate its path towards a modern state in which everyone will have equal rights," wrote Komšić.
As he stated in his congratulatory message, Steinmeier and Germany have proven in recent years that they are great friends of BiH and that they support Bosnia and Herzegovina's membership in the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance, for which Komšić expressed his deepest gratitude.
