SARAJEVO, April 20 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović and the BiH Presidency members Milorad Dodik and Željko Komšić received today a delegation from the United States Congress.
Members of the BiH Presidency received the US Senators from the Foreign Affairs Committee Jeanne Shaheen and Chris Murphy, a Senator from the Armed Forces Commission Thom Tillis, and the US Ambassador Michael Murphy.
Members of the BiH Presidency expressed gratitude to the US Senate delegation for their support and efforts so far for BiH, as well as for the visit, during which they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, European integration of BiH and the Western Balkans, elections, youth perspective, and EUFOR Althea security mission in BiH.
The increased interest of the US administration towards BiH and the region on the EU path was also a topic, as well as the continuation of American support for the European integration of the region.
The interlocutors also discussed the war in Ukraine, as the biggest security, humanitarian and economic challenge facing the European continent, stated the Presidency of BiH.
