SARAJEVO, May 9 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, sent a message on the occasion of May 9, the Golden Lilies Day and the Victory Day.
“On the occasion of the Golden Lilies Day, I would like to thank all the winners of the greatest war awards and members of the families of the deceased and missing winners of this award for their great courage, sacrifice and immeasurable contribution to the fight for defense and liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our permanent obligation is to remember these great patriots not only on this day, but always and with pride, and to pay tribute to them,” says Novalić.
Today, he added, is also the Victory Day, which pays tribute to the victims of fascism and fallen fighters in the Second World War, who contributed to the creation of freedom and equality for all citizens through their struggle and commitment.
“I am proud that Bosnians and Herzegovinians do not give up the fight against various fascist ideologies even today, showing that we are determined to live together and create a better future for all. We express our gratitude not only in words, but also in our efforts to provide all the fighters and families of the killed fighters with the dignity they deserve,” Novalić pointed out.
