The Director-General of the hospital, Ismet Gavrankapetanović, emphasized that the General Hospital was with the citizens in all of the most difficult moments for this city.
"Today, we mark 156 years since the founding of the first hospital, this is our heritage and our tradition. We are proud of our teachers, all those who worked and I take this opportunity to remember them. In the period that is behind us, the period of the coronavirus pandemic, we witnessed a difficult time of the collapse of the health system and everything that this hospital has done for the city," said Gavrankapetanović.
