SARAJEVO, June 6 (FENA) - At today's session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted this year's Draft Budget of the Institutions and International Obligations. The BiH Presidency should now decide on this budget draft.
All through last year, as well as this year, the state institutions have been functioning on decisions on interim financing, which enabled only the financing of basic budget payments and external debt, but not the implementation of important projects.
After the declaration of the Presidency of BiH, which, according to the Constitution of BiH, is the actual proposer of the budget of the institutions of BiH, the procedure continues in both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
On May 27, the draft law on the budget of the institutions and international obligations was sent to the procedure by the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Vjekoslav Bevanda (HDZ BiH). According to the Draft, the budget for 2022 amounts to 1,073,600,000 KM, of which the allocation of revenues from indirect taxes for the level of BiH is 865,500,000 KM, and the rest is own revenues.
