Džaferović - Benghali: Relations between BiH and Libya good and friendly

SARAJEVO, July 18 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, received the letter of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Libya to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Benghali.

They discussed the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Libya, which were judged to be good and friendly.

Chairman Džaferović expressed his hope and belief that the current situation in Libya will be resolved peacefully, and that an improvement in the political and security situation will be ensured as soon as possible.

Džaferović said that Bosnia and Herzegovina recognizes the legal authorities of Libya and its internationally recognized borders, and that our country has shown commitment to relations with Libya through the appointment of the BiH ambassador in Tripoli.

They discussed the long history of cooperation between the two countries, with special emphasis on economic cooperation, as well as the possibility of its stronger renewal in the coming period.

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Šefik Džaferović, wished a successful mandate to the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Libya, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Benghali, and the interlocutors expressed their belief that bilateral relations between BiH and Libya would improve in the coming period.
