SARAJEVO, October 26 (FENA) - Vice President of the BiH entity of Republika Srpska, Ramiz Salkić reacted to yesterday's rally in Banja Luka and Milorad Dodik's statements at that event, stressing that the High Representative has the obligation and mechanisms to remove from the political scene all those who threaten peace and the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"The obligation of the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, is to protect the Dayton Peace Agreement," stressed Salkić.

He pointed out that "Milorad Dodik's calls for the division of Bosnia and Herzegovina represent an open and direct violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, endangering peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region".

"With his statement, Milorad Dodik, with the support of his party and coalition partners, confirmed that he continues the separatist policy based on the denial of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the glorification of those who committed genocide and other serious war crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The HR is directly called out by such messages and obliged to react and stop this kind of behavior if at all he sees himself as a HR for this entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well," emphasized Salkić.
