SARAJEVO, November 15 (FENA) - At yesterday's session of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, a decision was made to open a consulate of that country in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with headquarters in Sarajevo.
On this occasion, the Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Delić, announces that the opening of the consulate is a direct result of the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.
"Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented at the world exhibition in Dubai for six months and many officials of the United Arab Emirates visited our pavilion, among them Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, with whom we discussed the opening of their country's consulate in our homeland," said Minister Delić.
