MOSTAR, December 20 (FENA) - As part of the ‘Advent in Mostar’ event, photos and video materials of projects that were implemented in Mostar thanks to the cooperation and financial assistance of the European Union will be projected tonight.

"In this way, the City of Mostar once again wishes to emphasize its satisfaction with the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina has received the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union because the path to the European Union is the path to a better Bosnia and Herzegovina," announced the City of Mostar.

The European Council granted Bosnia and Herzegovina candidate status for membership in the European Union last week.

"The granting of candidate status for EU membership is a great recognition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also a clear signal to the citizens that they should stay, invest and start families in this country," EU Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Johann Sattler pointed out today in Mostar.
