SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, spoke in Sarajevo with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in BiH, Ingrid Macdonald, about the cooperation between the Ministry and the UN.
Ingrid Macdonald informed the Minister about all the activities of the UN agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She singled out reforms in the field of education and health as a priority for action. Macdonald emphasized the importance of reforming the educational process to ensure education in which emphasis is placed on quality.
The interlocutors also discussed the topic of youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Resident Coordinator informed Minister Bošnjak about the upcoming summit on youth that will be held in New York.
The UN Resident Coordinator presented the activities of the UN Secretary General's Peace Building Fund, through which Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with 26 other UN member states, has the opportunity to use funds for education, health, culture and the environment.
Minister Bošnjak pointed out that she expects continued successful cooperation in all areas under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry said.
