SARAJEVO, April 10 (FENA) - Copyrights and freedom of expression are the themes of this year's International Book Fair, which will be held at Skenderija Center from April 12 to 17.
Visitors can expect numerous promotions, presentations, lectures, round tables and exhibitions. The participants will present themselves to the experts and audience through a series of topics important for literature, publishing and culture. The book fair will be marked by numerous meetings of writers, and publishers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world, as well as the performance of cultural centers operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Director of Skenderija Center, Damir Petrinić, pointed out that this year's fair will be full of interesting events and different programs for visitors of all ages and interests.
President of the Program Board at the Fair, Ibrahim Spahić, said that the author and his rights and freedom of expression are at the center of the Fair.
“We want this year's Fair to open a special approach to what is called publishing and the participation of people in the formation and shaping of certain works until the book goes to bookstores,” Spahić pointed out.
During the Fair, a series of programs under the motto Copyrights and freedom of expression will be held at Skenderija Center in Sarajevo. The organizers stress the international Round Table that will be held on April 13. The moderator of the round table is Professor Razija Iza Mešević.
Lectures will be held with experts from the country and the world at this Round Table, including Goethe Institute expert Janet Clark, Lejla Alimanović, and experts from the Federal Republic of Germany, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Austria, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as representatives from the Council of Europe and UNESCO.
