MOSTAR, April 14 (FENA) - President of the Croat People’s Assembly (HNS) Dragan Čović announced a series of meetings next week, the ultimate goal of which is the establishment of government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the session of the Presidency of the HNS of BiH, Dragan Čović repeated that he does not advocate the intervention of the High Representative when it comes to the appointment of the executive power in the Federation of BiH.

He added that in the agreement signed by the representatives of the political parties from the RS and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the elections, it was stated that within six months the electoral law "will be resolved" and that the same conclusion was previously supported by the representatives of all BiH political parties at a meeting in Brussels.

“There can be no impositions of changes to the Election Law, nor will the Croat side support them. Any other solutions or solutions that would correct something in the Electoral Law must imply legitimate representation both in the Presidency and in the Houses of the Peoples. There are no exceptions for anyone,” said Čović.

Those positions are stated in the Mostar Agreement, which was signed in June 2020 by the leaders of SDA and HDZ BiH, and that agreement will have to be implemented to the end, he added.
