SARAJEVO, May 9 (FENA) - A delegation of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina led by the head of the Rule of Law Unit, Matthew Hallowell, visited the FBiH Ministry of the Interior (FBiH MoI) today, where they met with Minister Ramo Isak.
Hallowell congratulated Minister Isak on his appointment and expressed satisfaction with future cooperation.
Isak introduced the guests to the most important activities that the FBiH Ministry of Internal Affairs undertakes in the field of security in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the efforts that Bosnia and Herzegovina invests in strengthening the security environment, especially emphasizing the activities of the FBiH Ministry of the Interior in providing support to the police forces in the fight against all forms of crime.
The main topic of discussion was the fight against terrorism, as a global threat and organized crime and corruption.
They also discussed the continuation of specialist training in the organization of US special forces.
Isak thanked Hallowell and his associates for the visit and expressed his belief that the extremely good cooperation between FBiH MoI and the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be continued and further strengthened, the FBiH MoI announced.
