SARAJEVO, May 16 (FENA) - Head of the European Union Delegation and Special Representative of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler, and members of the leadership of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chairman Tomislav Martinović and Vice-Presidents Slađan Ilić and Izen Hajdarević, today discussed the current political moment in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the processes that await this entity after the establishment of government, reform laws and the process of Euro-Atlantic integration.
Martinović informed Sattler about the conclusions of the recent meeting of the leadership of both houses of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the leaders of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a good start of joint cooperation for the benefit of all residents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Sattler emphasized the importance of BiH's membership in the European Union, as well as the importance of keeping attention on this part of Europe. He assessed BiH's candidacy status as a great step forward on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration, which when it comes to BiH does not have a plan "B".
Martinović called on Sattler to stand up for the continuation of the Twinning project, which helps the legislative authorities in the process of adapting to EU standards, with a special emphasis on supporting the county assemblies, which have a lot of work to do in the process of our country's accession to the European Union, stated the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.
