Delić: Negotiations underway with World Bank on the employment project and creation of social maps

SARAJEVO, June 7 (FENA) - The FBiH Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has continued the negotiations with representatives of the World Bank on the implementation of the employment support project and the creation of social maps in the FBiH.

The Minister of Labor and Social Policy Adnan Delić agreed, with representatives of the World Bank Alicia Marguerie, Sirma Demir – Seker and Meliha Kozarić Fanning, the framework steps necessary for the realization of those two important projects for the Ministry, which were followed by negotiations between the project holders from the Ministry and a representative of the World Bank.

As part of the negotiations on the employment support project (ESP2), technical details related to the signing of the loan agreement at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entities were agreed upon, as well as the revision of the Project Operating Manual (POM) as a necessary document for the implementation of the Project Agreement.

The group in charge of creating social maps with representatives of the World Bank discussed the model of the social map and its key elements, the problem of the lack of necessary data as well as the credibility of the data available to the Ministry, the impossibility of monitoring income and assets, the necessity of digitization, as well as the linking of existing databases in the Ministry, but also with other institutions that have their databases.
