Avdović: Work hard in next two months to fulfill required minimum to open accession negotiations

BRUSSELS, January 2 (FENA) - Belgium has taken over the six-month presidency of the European Union, and as BiH Ambassador to Belgium, Erol Avdović, said in an interview with FENA, six priorities have been officially announced during the Belgian presidency of the EU in the first six months of 2024. The priorities are defending the rule of law, democracy, and unity, strengthening economic competitiveness, pursuing a green and just transition, reinforcing social and health agenda, protecting borders and people, and promoting a global Europe.
