Labor migration in BiH: Employers need to hire foreign workers

SARAJEVO, December 6 (FENA) - The Western Balkans is increasingly focused on employing foreign workers, with a 74 percent increase in the number of work permits issued to foreign workers between 2022 and 2023. A similar trend has been noticed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a 20 percent increase in work permits issued in 2023 compared to 2022.
