SARAJEVO, August 8 (FENA) – The newly amended text of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) will come into effect on August 9. The changes include legal recognition of criminal acts committed through information and communication technologies, clearer definitions of gender-based violence against women, and increased penalties for the crimes of 'domestic violence' and 'serious bodily injury'.
