SARAJEVO, August 24 (FENA) – In some parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, murals decorate cities, celebrate peace and coexistence, and represent the creativity of young people, while in other parts, murals glorify war criminals and reopen painful wounds of survivors. Such murals in public space do not only send a message about the past, they are also a kind of last line of defense of a backward radical nationalist ideology, said sociologist, philosopher, and professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, Asim Mujkić, in a statement for FENA.
